Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio has sold one of his Los Angeles homes and is attempting to sell another in Southern California, but continues to have a healthy portfolio of real estate holdings

"The Revenant" actor found a buyer who, according to the Multiple Listing Service,  paid $2.237 million for the 3,407-square-foot home in Los Angeles’ Studio City neighborhood, which was put on the market in September.

This was below the original asking price of $2.395 million, but represented a small price uptick from the $2.05 million that property records show he paid his cousin and business associate Robert Hrtica for the house in March 2014.

Mr. DiCaprio  purchased the home through Malibu Colony PCH Property LLC, according to property records. Malibu Colony lists the same Hollywood address as a film production company established by Mr. DiCaprio and it lists Mr. Hrtica in property records as its primary contact.

Set on one-third of an acre, the four-bedroom home, which dates back to the 1930s, boasts floor-to-ceiling glass windows with panoramic mountain views, a mirrored built-in bar in the family room, a second-story master suite and a swimming pool.

The "Titanic" star is also trying to sell his oceanfront Malibu home, which is on the market for $10.95 million, nearly seven times what he paid for the property two decades ago. The bungalow, in an area of Malibu dubbed "Billionaire’s Beach," has a beach-facing balcony and a patio with a hot tub.

Mr. DiCaprio has become quite the real estate magnate since he shot to big-screen fame in "Romeo & Juliet." In addition to his Malibu homes, Mr. DiCaprio also reportedly owns three luxury condos in Manhattan—one in Greenwich Village and two in Battery Park City, an island in Belize, a house in Palm Springs and a mansion in the Hamptons.

The listing agent for the Studio City home, Michael Oken of Wish Sotheby’s International Realty,  and a spokeswoman for Mr. DiCaprio did not respond immediately for request for comment.
