LeBron James has scored a second multi-million dollar estate in Brentwood, Los Angeles, according to property records.

A company tied to the basketball star has paid $23 million for a nearly 16,000-square-foot spec home in the ritzy neighborhood on the Westside, records show. His new mansion, which he closed on last month, is only two miles from a smaller one Mr. James, 32, bought in 2015 through the same company for nearly $21 million.

Developer Cutting Edge completed the three-floor, white brick home this year and put it on the market in June for $30 million.

The home on North Tigertail—until a few months ago, the same street singer Alanis Morissette lived on—has eight bedrooms, nine-and-a-half bathrooms and a plethora of luxury amenities.

A winding drive leads to the front entrance, which opens into a great room and marble-clad kitchen. In fact, large slabs of marble feature throughout the home, including a contemporary floor-to-ceiling fireplace and bar.

The lower level of the home holds a series of entertainment spaces, including a wine cellar, cigar room, second bar with an onyx countertop, billiards room, home theater and a guest suite, according to the listing with agent and co-developer Santiago Arana. Mr. Arana and The Agency declined to comment on the sale.

Amenities also include an indoor-outdoor gym with a spa and steam room, sauna, massage room and a gallery for displaying cars.

Mr. James, who plays forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers, has been moonlighting in Los Angeles as an actor and producer. It was recently announced that the basketball player will star in a remake of "Space Jam"—the 1990s live action-cartoon hybrid starring fellow NBA great Michael Jordan.

A foundation for Mr. James did not immediately return request for comment.
