Long-time late-night TV producer Peter Lassally listed his Frank Gehry–designed Malibu beach house at the end of last month with a $7.25 million price tag, according to property records.

It also has multiple decks and terraces, floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed beams, several fireplaces and space to park three cars. Its asking price per square foot is $2,621.

Pritzker Prize-winning Mr. Gehry—famed for his work on the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles—built the house in 1982, according to records. Mansion Global could not determine when Mr. Lassally and his wife, Alice, purchased the property or the price.

Mr. Lassally, 84, who could not be reached for comment, was the executive producer of "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson," for decades. After Carson retired in 1992, Mr. Lassally went on to work as producer for David Letterman and Craig Ferguson.
