Jackie Kennedy Onassis’s childhood summer house in East Hampton, New York, has just gotten its second price cut in three months, this time for $5 million, reducing its asking price to $29.995 million.
Since hitting the market in 2016 for $38.995 million, the manor has now had $9 million-worth of discounts.

Designed by Arthur Jackson and built in 1917 on more than seven acres, the home has 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and two half bathrooms. There’s also a swimming pool, a pool house, a two-bedroom guesthouse and a three-car garage.
An adjacent four-acre adjacent parcel holding the home’s sunken, grass tennis court is available too, asking $11.995 million—discounted from its original $15 million ask—for prospective buyers who are in the market for a bona fide estate.
The home is owned by fashion designer and chief artistic officer at Tiffany & Co. Reed Krakoff. Mr. Krakoff, who could not be reached for comment, bought the estate in 2007 for $20 million, city records show.

"The new price is very realistic and represents substantial value considering the house was totally renovated in 2007," said listing broker Peter Turino of Brown Harris Stevens. "The fact that this property was the Bouvier summer residence throughout the 1920s adds an uncommon element of intrigue."
The listing is being shared by Mr. Turino, Douglas Elliman’s Carol Nobbs and Corcoran’s Susan Breitenbach. Ms. Breitenbach and Ms. Nobbs did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Last summer, the house was reportedly rented out by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich and his wife, Dasha Zhukova.
