The ultraluxury condominium 520 West 28th Street, the highly anticipated project from starchitect Zaha Hadid, now has listings available. Sales launched quietly in early October, but prices were only available upon request. There are now ten listings on the market, ranging in price from $4.975 million for a two-bedroom unit with two-and-a-half bathrooms, to $25 million for a 4,460-square-foot residence with four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. Curbed reported on the listings hitting the market on Thursday.
The 11-story building is currently under construction. When finished, it will consist of 39 apartments with two to five bedrooms. There will be three penthouses. The homes will include wide-plank white oak flooring, kitchens with white-marble islands, and a custom sculptural element. Balcony and terrace doors will slide open at the push of a button; many units will have views of West Chelsea and the High Line.
Residents will have access to a 75-foot indoor swimming pool, a private spa, an IMAX theater and an automated valet, among other amenities. The building is being developed by Related Cos. Completion is scheduled for spring 2017. The number of units under contract is not yet available, according to a spokesperson for the project.
