Actress Cobie Smulders and her actor husband Taran Killam, are trying to unload their apartment in Manhattan’s Battery Park City for $3.995 million.
Ms, Smulders, best known for her role as Robin Scherbatsky on the “How I Met Your Mother” TV series and her role as Maria Hill in “The Avengers” film franchise, put her home on River Terrace on the market earlier this month, according to listing records.
The Canadian actress and model, whose real name is Jacoba Francisca Maria Smulders, purchased the penthouse with Mr. Killam, a former “Saturday Night Live” cast-member who is now starring in “Hamilton,"for $2.07 million in 2012, according to property records.
If the unit sells at the asking price, the celebrity couple could almost double their investment.
Representatives for the couple didn’t immediately respond requests for comment.
The David Rockwell-designed penthouse features three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a 40-foot long living room with bamboo floors, a spacious kitchen with the state-or-the-arts appliances and a laundry closet, according to the listing.
The 650-square-foot roof garden terrace, in addition to its 1,580 square feet of interior living space, offers views of the World Trade Center, the Hudson River and other downtown icons.
The building, Riverhouse One Rockefeller Park, is one of the greenest condominiums in New York, providing residents with filtered air and water, as well as low energy costs.
Building amenities include a parking garage, a fitness center with yoga studio, swimming pool and a children’s playroom.
Jason Walker from Douglas Elliman has the listing. He declined to comment.
