The house on Woodley Road was built, for the current owners, in 2008 by the Warner Group Architects, which is based in Santa Barbara, California.
"The house is almost timeless," Ms. Perkins said.

It’s "set on the side of a hill, with great outdoor living areas," she said. "It’s very private and you have fabulous mountain views."
Architectural details include an open-floor plan in the public rooms, stainless steel trim, frameless corner glass windows, 10- to 12-foot ceiling heights, custom Italian cabinetry, floor-to-ceiling steel casement windows and honed granite floors. The staircase tower has 26-foot ceilings.
The kitchen features built-in frosted glass cabinets and a butler’s pantry with built-ins that hold about 200 wine bottles. Neighborhood Notes
Montecito, which is Spanish for ‘little mountain," is an unincorporated community in Santa Barbara County that sits just east of the city of Santa Barbara.
The house is in the Pepper Hill area of Montecito. "There are about 100 homes up there," she said. "They are all very deluxe."
Coast Village Road in Montecito, which is known for its "excellent restaurants, great shopping and beautiful specialty stores," is within walking distance, she said. "It’s very much like a village."
