Oil heiress and philanthropist Aileen Getty is selling her Malibu home less than 10 months after buying it from fashion designer James Perse.

Ms. Getty, the granddaughter of oil magnate J. Paul Getty, put the six-bedroom, 5,255-square-foot home back on the market this week for $14.1 million.

She bought the home for $12.5 million in August, according to property records, through a company named after the two children she had with ex-husband Christopher Wilding, the son of Elizabeth Taylor.

Before selling to Ms. Getty, Mr. Perse redesigned the farmhouse-style mansion on Bison Court, according to the listing with Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland, and Lily Harfouche of Coldwell Banker. The listing agents declined to comment.

The one-story, graphite-colored stucco house sits on nearly two acres. The property includes large parking and grassy, manicured lawns at the front, while the back of the house leads out onto a pergola covered patio, fire pit, swimming pool and hot tub, photos from the listing show.

The home also comes with two keys to a gated beach in Point Dume—a celebrity hub in Malibu where the likes of Julia Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow and Cindy Crawford have houses.

Ms. Getty runs the Aileen Getty Foundation, which supports AIDS and HIV research, homelessness prevention, the arts and other charitable causes. The sale comes as the heiress plans to move to the East Coast, according to The Real Deal, which first reported the listing.

A request for comment sent to Ms. Getty’s charity was not immediately returned.
