A Hamptons mansion that Beyoncé and Jay-Z once rented and which touts the largest in-home theater in the South Fork has hit the market for $15.995 million.

The large traditional shingle-style home known as the Goose Creek estate is located off of Georgica Pond, in the Hamptons town of Wainscott, and houses eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and a host of amenities meant to cater to A-list tenants.

At 19,000 square feet, the behemoth—which used to rent for $500,000 a summer—has made even the rich and famous feel small. "I felt like a little kid in a big haunted house in there," Jay-Z told New York magazine about the summer he, Beyoncé and Roc-A-Fella Records CEO Damon Dash stayed there.

In 2012, celebrities filled the home’s 110-seat theater for an intimate premiere of documentary-style police drama "End of Watch" starring Jake Gyllenhaal. Gwyneth Paltrow and Jerry Seinfeld were among the celebrities who descended on the 5.5-acre estate.

Back then, the star-studded rental was owned and operated by Bryan Bantry, a New York modeling agent and theatrical producer. He sold the home in 2014 for $10.5 million to a buyer named as Goosecreek NMJ LLC, according to property records.

It hit the market for sale for the first time since then on Thursday. The current owners undertook a number of renovation since it was last on the market, according to the listing agency, Corcoran.

Other star-studded events at the home included a birthday party for "Thelma & Louise" actress Geena Davis and another for Alexa Ray Joel, the daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley, according to Corcoran.

Jennifer Lopez, who later reportedly bought her own Hamptons mansion, also once rented the property, as did Madonna, Corcoran said.

Besides the oversized home theater, renters had their choice of swimming spots, including a heated pool in the backyard, an indoor pool and spa or the creek for which the property is named.

There’s also a tennis court, pool house and gym, according to the listing with Corcoran agent Michael Schultz.
