The Los Angeles home of the late Eagles guitarist and singer Glenn Frey hit the market Thursday with a price tag of $14.995 million.
Frey, who died last year at the age of 67, bought the Spanish style estate in L.A.’s Brentwood Park neighborhood for a little over $10 million in 2002, property records show. He used an LLC for the purchase.

He bought the home from the late entertainment mogul Michael King of King World Productions, records show.
Built in 1996, the six-bedroom home is set off the street and behind gates. It has "unparalleled privacy, wonderful authenticity, sprawling grounds, gorgeous gardens," and richly detailed spaces, reads its listing with David Offer of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, who declined to comment on the property.
The house also has a double-height entry, a formal living room with fireplace, a library, a master suite with vaulted ceilings andaterrace and a basement with a bar. The "resort-like grounds" include stone patios, fountains, rose gardens, a fully tiled pool and spa, a poolside cabana and a detached guest house.

Frey was a founding member of the Eagles, along with drummer Don Henley. The band had five No. 1 singles, six Grammy Awards, five American Music Awards, six No. 1 albums and are considered one of the most successful musical acts of the 1970s.
