The newest listing in Zaha Hadid’s One Thousand Museum condominium in Miami has hit the market for $20.485 million.

The full-floor, five-bedroom apartment spans 10,000 square feet on the entire 53rd floor of the 62-story condominium. The futuristic, skeletal-looking building totals 83 units ranging from townhouses on the lower levels to a massive penthouse at the top.

One Thousand Museum is the first residential tower in the Western Hemisphere by Hadid, an iconic Iraqi-British architect who designed the luxury building shortly before her death in 2016, at the age of 65.

Mansion Global got an exclusive first look at the expansive unit, which has seven bathrooms, two powder rooms and a large, 1,100-square-foot terrace overlooking Biscayne Bay.

Renderings of the unit reveal a long marble-clad master bathroom with separate his-and-hers sinks and toilets. Luxury amenities also include a media room with a wet bar, shared terraces off each of the four additional bedrooms, a staff area with laundry facilities and an open floor plan.

The newly listed apartment is one of eight full-floor units near the top of the tower. There are three full-floor units still unsold, including this latest listing and another on the 51st floor that is selling for $18.29 million, according to a listing with Sotheby’s International Realty.

The largest unit in the building, a duplex penthouse on the 58th and 59th levels, is one of the most expensive condos on the market in Miami, asking a whopping $50 million, according to information provided by the building.

While the luxury housing market has slowed considerably in Miami over the last year, more than half of the units in the building have sold since they began selling at the end of 2013. The sales team rang up $30 million in sales in December, the latest available data, building reps said.

"As Zaha Hadid’s first residential skyscraper in the western hemisphere, One Thousand Museum has attracted buyers from Saudi Arabia to New York and Brazil to Norway," said Harvey Daniels, director of sales. "Not only is the design and uniqueness of the building extremely attractive to global and sophisticated buyers, but since construction is past the 50% mark, it brings a sense of certainty to our buyers and future residents."

The building has also attracted international buyers from Beirut, Lebanon, Dubai and Venezuela, building reps said.

Hadid designed the building with 30,000 square feet of communal amenities, including two stories at the very top, multiple pools, gardens, event spaces, a health spa and a theater and the city’s only private helipad on the roof.

The project is expected to be completed by next year.
