To say the walls within 1001 N. Crescent Drive—a Georgian-style Beverly Hills mansion—probably saw a thing or two would likely be an understatement since rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon had rented the home since 2012. Now the property is up for grabs, having hit the market for $26.895 million, a Sotheby’s rep confirmed to Mansion Global.
The 5,389-square-foot single-story home—designed in 1955 by renowned architect Paul Williams—has been fully remodeled and includes four bedrooms, six baths, marble entryways, a formal living room and dining area that seats 20, and an updated chef’s kitchen.
It’s also got plenty of perks you’d expect from a pad rented by rock stars such as a mosaic tile pool; a media room outfitted with its own bar; a private outdoor spa tub; and a cabana with a fully equipped gym, bathroom, kitchen and barbecue, according to the property listing.
If you tend to keep up with celebrity gossip, you probably know that the Osbournes—married since 1982— had a fairly tempestuous year, drumming up headlines with news of divorce following Ozzy’s alleged cheating scandal in May, followed by a reconciliation announcement a month later.
While the terms of their property agreement weren’t disclosed, records show that the L.A. estate was previously listed for as much as $50,000 a month, The Los Angeles Times reported.
The Osbournes no longer live at the home.
