A fully furnished home that sits on 700 feet of water frontage in Siesta Key, Florida, hit the market Tuesday for $15 million.

Located in a private, gated peninsula surrounded by the bay, canal and lagoon on Florida’s west coast, the newly constructed home has four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms, with the interior living space spanning a total of 8,138 square feet.

Designed by Miami-based firm MONIOMI, the home is crafted with wood, marble and exotic stone throughout. It also features coffered ceilings, intricate moldings, textured wall coverings and walls of glass, according to the listing with Joel Schemmel of the Schemmel Property Group of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.

The home has unobstructed water views, but the most standout detail in the residence might be the lounge that features an illuminated crystal agate countertop bar with a fossilized Jurassic brown marble base, according to the listing.

Outdoors, there is an infinity pool with swim-up bar, spa, gazebo, fire pits and fireplaces, koi pond, outdoor kitchen and several seating areas. Additionally, the 1.4-acre estate also comes with a 10-car garage, and a private dock leading to the deep water for boating.

"There is a well-equipped boat dock with lift, paddle board launch, and even a tackle room to house all finishing equipment. This home was definitely built to be lived in and enjoyed by the water sports enthusiast," Mr. Schemmel said.

Current owners, a couple in the sport fishing business who weren’t available for comment, bought the site for $1.93 million in 2011, property records via PropertyShark show. They spent six years building the new, two-story house.

"They travel the world sport fishing and spend a significant amount of time in Costa Rica and are not able to spend as much time here as they originally intended," Mr. Schemmel said of the reason for the sale.

This is one of the most expensive homes listed on Siesta Key, a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico known for its sandy beaches. There are currently just four properties priced over $10 million on Siesta Key, according to Mr. Schemmel.
