Guo Wengui, a Chinese billionaire developer who has lived in Manhattan at least since 2015 in a self-imposed exile, relisted his trophy home at the prestigious Sherry-Netherland, a hotel and cooperative building on Fifth Avenue, for $68 million Thursday.
Mr. Guo, 51, also known as Miles Kwok, first put the seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom residence on the market for $86 million in October 2015, a few months after he purchased it for $67.5 million, property records show.

He dropped the price to $78 million in 2017, and this time chopped off another $10 million to $68 million, just slightly more than the price he paid for it.
Kathleen M. Sloane of Brown Harris Stevens has been handling the sale for Mr. Guo. Ms. Sloane, Mr. Guo and representatives from the brokerage did not respond to requests for comment.
Marketed as a “triple-terraced trophy masterpiece,” the apartment is serviced by all three of the building’s elevators. It includes a gallery, a library with custom paneling, a media room, and a living room with three exposures of Central Park, according to the listing.
“This residence is truly a unique opportunity to own one of the most spectacular residences in one of the most special addresses in the world,” according to the listing.
Mr. Guo, a self-claimed whistleblower, has often used his home to livestream his exposure of the political power struggle, corruption and other so-called top secrets in China. He has many followers on YouTube and Twitter, but his social media channels are all blocked in China. He is accused of corruption by the Chinese government.
The Sherry-Netherland offers white-glove service, including room service straight from the kitchen of Harry Cipriani, twice daily maid service and a 24-hour concierge. The monthly maintenance fee runs roughly $59,000, according to listing site StreetEasy.
