Emmy-winning TV personality and talk show host Dick Cavett is ready to part with his Manhattan co-op after putting it on the market Saturday for $5.995 million, according to listing records.

The seven-room Upper West Side apartment—on Central Park West and 75th Street—is "clad in exquisite prewar detail," according to the listing with Corcoran brokers Karen Kelley and Pino Fortunato, who declined to comment on the listing.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom home has beamed ceilings, a chef’s kitchen, a paneled dining room and oversized windows "with south, east, west and north exposures, great for checking the weather," the listing said. Its monthly maintenance runs to the tune of $6,123.

Mr. Cavett, 81, purchased the apartment in 2009 for $4.2 million, property records show.

His eponymous "The Dick Cavett Show" ran for decades, airing interviews with the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Salvador Dalí, Groucho Marx, Janis Joplin, Katharine Hepburn and John Lennon. He also made appearances in other television shows, including episodes of "The Odd Couple," "Cheers," and "The Simpsons."
