Singer and songwriter Charlie Puth is relisting his Hollywood Hills home for $2.199 million, one month after buying a $9 million mansion in Beverly Hills.

The 4,350-square-feet Mediterranean home in Hollywood Hills has five bedrooms and six bathrooms. It features a wall of glass that opens from the terrace to the loft-like living room, and a master suite with dual fireplaces, a sitting area and a balcony, the listing shows. The home was built with marble and tiles imported from the Italian cities of Verona, Tuscany and Bologna. The windows, floors, doors, cabinetry and ironwork also were all custom-made in Italy.

Best known for his hit songs "See You Again" and "We Don’t Talk Anymore," the New Jersey-born pop star purchased the property for $1.9 million in December 2015, according to listing agent Mica Rabineau at Nourmand & Associates.

"He bought this place so he could move to L.A. and go after his music dream," Mr. Rabineau said.

Mr. Puth, 26, couldn't immediately be reached for comment. Mr. Rabineau confirmed that the Grammy-nominated singer bought a three-bedroom mansion in Beverly Hills from photographer and music video creative director Matthew Rolston for $8.995 million last month.

Mr. Rabineau said Mr. Puth recently decided to sell the Hollywood Hills home after upgrading to his new Beverly Hills mansion. However, public records show the property was back on the market just seven months after Mr. Puth bought it, then taken off the market this past February before it was relisted this week.

The property was first listed for $2.199 million, with the price dropping to just under $2 million by August 2016.

The three-story villa includes two kitchens, a guesthouse, and an upstairs office that has been converted into a music studio. The lower level has a wine room and a steam room and sauna, as well as a saltwater pool and a spa.

"This home is perfect for entertaining. It includes a spacious, open layout that still affords intimacy and warmth," Mr. Rabineau said. "With its second kitchen that opens to a private patio and the pool, this villa truly is the perfect place to entertain."
