Location: Nantucket, Massachusetts

Price: $12.9 million

"All you see is the ocean and meadows," said listing agent Steve DiFrancesco about the traditional, shingle-style beachside property he’s representing in Nantucket. In fact, situated on nearly two acres of land in the tranquil area of Dionis, the five-bedroom residence stands between a beach and a massive nature conservancy with acres of pristine land.

A wraparound porch makes for an ideal place to sit and enjoy the surrounding landscape.

"You have hundreds of acres of conservation land, which this house overlooks," Mr. DiFrancesco said, referring to the 270 acres of open land owned by the Linda Loring Foundation, just across the street from the home. And the home’s land includes a beach, meadow and pine trees, in addition to a well-tended lawn.

The residence’s interior boasts a subtle palette of white, blue and yellow, accentuated by light filtering through the home’s many windows. And for those who fall in love with the home’s furnishings, Mr. DiFrancesco said that the furniture is available for an extra cost.

"It’s immaculate, well-kept and well-made," he said. And well located too.

Stats

Located on approximately two acres of land bordered by pine trees, meadow and ocean, the approximately 3,940-square-foot residence has five bedrooms and five full-bathrooms.

Amenities

The residence features all a family could want for seasonal and year-round living: a gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, three fireplaces throughout the home’s two stories, a Jacuzzi, an invisible fence system for pets, and a small, winding path that leads down to the nearby beach.

Neighborhood Notes

Situated in Dionis, one of Nantucket’s premier areas, the residence is only three miles from town.  "You can bike into town," Mr. DiFrancesco said, "[just] to pick up a coffee and paper."

Though many see Nantucket as a summer getaway spot, Mr. DiFrancesco is quick to point out the island’s many year-round events. From the Christmas Stroll in December, when the town becomes filled with holiday lights, trees and carolers, to the flower-filled celebration of spring known as the Daffodil Festival in late April, the town seems to have no shortage of events.
