"Wouldn’t it Be Nice" for Beach Boy Mike Love if he could score an extra $700,000 on his Pebble Beach home.

That’s what the singer is aiming for now that he’s relisted the secluded estate in posh Monterey County, California, for $6.45 million. Last year, he and his wife, Jacqueline Piesen, were selling the home for $5.745 million, but pulled the listing from the market in October, property records show.

The Loves built the gated, Tuscan-inspired house with views of the ocean in 2006, and equipped it with homey details, including an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven, records show.

The front door leads into the main living areas designed with an open floor plan and double-height ceilings.

Interior space spans 8,900 square feet, seven bedrooms and six bathrooms. There’s also a lower level replete with entertaining spaces, ranging from a home theater to a wine-tasting room.

Mr. Love, 77, known for his nasal singing so characteristic of the Beach Boys sound, built the master suite into the entire top floor of the home and added a an apartment with its own kitchenette for guests or caretakers. There’s also elevator access to each of the four floors, according to the listing.

He and keyboardist, Bruce Johnston, continue to tour as the Beach Boys, and Mr. Love has produced two solo albums.

Despite the price hike, the large estate is priced still below others with comparable square footage, according to the listing.

Mr. Beutel, the listing agent, and reps for Mr. Love did not immediately return requests for comment.

The Los Angeles Times first reported the relisting.
