Christmas came early for comedian Amy Schumer, who finally went into contract to sell her one-bedroom Upper West Side bachelorette pad before the holiday.

The 850-square-foot, full-floor unit at the top of a co-op on West 80th Street went into contract on Dec. 23, according to listing records. The "Trainwreck" star has been trying to unload the home for over a year, first listing the one-bedroom, one-and-a-half bathroom unit with Compass for $2.075 million. She’s since cut the price multiple times. It was most recently selling for $1.625 million, according to a listing by The Modlin Group.

Ms. Schumer, an award-winning actress and comedian known for her sassy and sexually explicit stand-up, bought the unit from TV producers Randall Barone and Eric Beesemyer in 2014 for $1.695 million, according to property records.

The listing bills the property as a penthouse unit at the top of a 20-foot-wide townhouse, steps from the Museum of Natural History. The unit comes with fireplaces in both the bedroom and living room, and private access to the roof.

"A staircase leads you to your private rooftop garden, a perfect place to unwind or entertain all while enjoying beautiful views of New York City," according to the listing with Modlin.

There are also skylights to bring light into the kitchen, high ceilings and built-in shelving. The bathroom comes with a claw-foot soaking tub, and the additional half-bathroom accommodates an in-unit washer and dryer.

Ms. Schumer has reportedly moved to a duplex penthouse, also on the Upper West Side, about a mile northwest of her old digs. A major upgrade, the new home, which sold in October for $12.15 million, according to property records, has five bedrooms, five baths and a top-floor living space surrounded by glass walls.

A publicist for Ms. Schumer did not immediately return a request for comment.
