The sprawling estate in Beverly Hills, California, owned by late business mogul Norbert Gehr, is now available with a $10.495 million discount.
Dubbed Maison 613, the 21,000-square-foot residence within the prestigious 90210 zip code came onto the market for $39.995 million in January 2017. The asking price was reduced to $29.5 million in mid-April, according to listing records.
The estate was the longtime home of the late Norbert Gehr, who died at age 74 in February 2015. His eponymous company, The Gehr Group, specializes in international trade, manufacturing, as well as real estate, including residential, commercial and hospitality properties in Los Angeles and Manhattan.
The mansion has 44 rooms, including eight bedrooms, 13 full and four half-bathrooms, two family rooms, a paneled library, music room, separate guest house and staff quarters, according to the listing with Ron de Salvo of Coldwell Banker Global Luxury. Hilton & Hyland is a co-listing brokerage.
Mr. de Salvo wasn’t immediately available for comment.
According to a rep for Coldwell Banker, the home was just restaged by noted Hollywood stager Meridith Baer, who had her own HGTV show “Staged To Perfection.”
The estate is filled with luxury amenities, including several fireplaces, a theater, an indoor basketball court, two-lane bowling alley, gym, beauty salon, resort-sized swimming pool and spa, wine cellar, as well as smart home automation technology, according to the listing.
