Actress Anna Faris has sold a long-time home in Hollywood Hills that she’s owned since her "Scary Movie" days in the mid-2000s.

Ms. Faris closed on the open mid-century modern Los Angeles home, surrounded by a lush perimeter of desert foliage, last week for $2.09 million, according to listing records. She had shared the home with her ex, "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt, and their young son.

Nestled in Nichols Canyon, the single-story house built in 1950, sits behind a canopy of trees and abuts a hillside that provides the home some privacy.

The main living spaces are built around an open-floor plan with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a freeform pool in the backyard and canyon views beyond. Images of the home show dark hardwood floors span most of the home, including the kitchen where they contrast white-painted cabinetry and dark granite countertops.

Spanning nearly one-acre, the property also includes a leafy patio, a fireplace in the living room and a bocce court, according to the listing with Mimi Starrett of Core Real Estate Group.

Ms. Faris, 41, bought the house through a private trust in 2005 for nearly the same price she sold it for 13 years later. Records show she paid $1.995 million.

A publicist for the actress did not immediately return request for comment.
