Location: London, England

Price: £13 million (US$17.67 million)

Close proximity to shopping, a leafy street location, and a personal spa are just some of the highlights of the newly built St. Luke’s House in Chelsea. And in an area where most houses share walls, this spacious standalone abode is a rarity.

"Most of the homes in this neighborhood are relatively narrow," said Jake Russell, director at Russell Simpson, a London-based real estate firm. "To have a home that is wide, fully detached and with parking is unheard of in this area."

Taking design cues from the Georgian homes in the neighborhood, developers used traditional brick, iron railings and sash windows to create a traditional facade. Potential buyers would want for nothing at this turnkey property, which includes a management service, Mr. Russell said.

"The buyer can simply turn up with their suitcase and feel right at home," he said. "If they’re not here full time, they can phone ahead and have fresh flowers delivered, a fridge filled with food or the season’s clothes taken out of storage for their arrival."

Top-of-the-line materials have been sourced from around the world for the home, Mr. Russell added, from the foyer’s hand-painted silk wallpaper to Calacatta Oro marble in the kitchen and the limestone patio.

There are four reception rooms, and the main drawing room is made for entertaining, with its parquet flooring and an Italian-marble Queen Anne bolection fireplace. There’s also a study, according to the listing, with built-in cabinetry, plus a bronze fretwork sliding screen and leather-wrapped studded TV wall. Both rooms offer access to the limestone patio.

A master suite takes up the entire second floor of the home. Details include leather-clad shutters that match the headboard and wardrobes, Mr. Russell said. The hand-painted silk wallpaper was created to complement the suite’s Calacatta Oro marble and Lye Rock Crystal fittings. Additional bedrooms are on the third floor.

St. Luke’s Street offers "a green, leafy, village-like atmosphere that is just a minute’s walk to the high street," Mr. Russell said. And world-class shops like Harrods and Louis Vuitton are just a bit further, he added.
