A triptych of luxury high rises in Manhattan, each designed by a different famous architect, will take the same approach inside—where three designers will create interiors to fit each building’s distinct facade.

The developer of Waterline Square, a set of three unique, glass condominiums between West 59th Street and West 61st Street overlooking the Hudson River, has unveiled the first renderings that depict how the three towers will look inside and identified the project’s three interior designers exclusively to Mansion Global. Each building will offer condos in two different finishes.

Champalimaud

Champalimaud, a leading designer of hotel interiors, will design One Waterline Square to contrast the precise, straight-lined architecture of starchitect Richard Meier with warm interiors, said a spokeswoman for the developer, GID Development Group. The building on West 59th Street will offer two palettes, white and a natural-toned selection. The condos will also have high ceilings and window-lined walls.

Yabu Pushelberg

Interior design duo George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg of Yabu Pushelberg, also known for their work in hospitality, specifically boutique hotels, will design Two Waterline Square, a building by architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, or KPF.

Buyers in the second building, facing the river from West 61st Street, will be able to choose between two finishes, described by the developers as "light" and "dark." This building is characterized by cascading terraces at various levels of the building, according to the developer.

Groves & Co.

Architect Rafael Viñoly, known in New York for designing the slim 432 Park Avenue tower, will work with Groves & Co. on Three Waterline Square, which stands at the corner of West 59th Street and Freedom Place South. Groves & Co. will design each apartment around either ash or oak tones.

All three of the condominiums, which will be built simultaneously, will offer views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline.

The project will help to finalize the Riverside Master Plan, designed more than two decades ago to transform 77 acres of waterfront land along the Hudson River into a residential neighborhood. The project is expected to be complete by 2019.
