Location: Los Angeles, California

Price: $4.288 million

This seventh-floor penthouse is one of 56 apartments at The Liddel, a new building on Los Angeles’s Westside.

Located on the Wilshire Corridor, also known as The Golden Mile, The Liddel is at the heart of a two-mile stretch of luxury condominium buildings that run from Westwood Village to the west side of the Los Angeles Country Club, adjacent to Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills and Bel Air.

"The property is just launching now," said Don Heller of The Agency, which is handling sales. They’ve sold 20% of units.

Final construction on the Wilshire Boulevard development is wrapping up now, he said. "The units are not fully punched out with everything, but they are effectively finished."  This apartment is "100% move-in ready," he said.

For now, the fully decorated penthouse is being used as a model unit, to show prospective buyers the building and interior designer Jamie Bush’s work. (The furnishings are not included, but could be available for a separate price.)

The apartment has a dramatic two-story entry with a skylight. "The unit floods with light upon entry," Mr. Heller said. "And then once you enter the living space, there is a 14-foot window. It’s done with panes so that it looks like a series of photographs on the wall."

"The views are very serene, with a lot of blue sky and mountains," he said.

The kitchen has custom European cabinetry and a suite of Miele appliances, including a wine refrigerator, double oven and 36-inch gas cooktop.

The master bedroom has the same 14-foot paned window as the living room, a separate sitting area and a large walk-in closet.

The large master bath has an oversized walk-in shower, a large soaking tub and a custom Italian vanity. The terrazzo floors are heated.

Ceiling heights in the apartment range from nine-and-a-half to 14 feet, and the floors throughout are wide-plank white oak.
