The long-time head of Reebok has put his Massachusetts mansion on the market for $90 million.
Paul Fireman, who sold Reebok to Adidas a decade ago for $3.8 billion and has donated to both Democratic and Republican politicians, built Woodland Manor, a 14-acre estate, in the affluent suburb of Brookline, Mass. in 2000 as a family home. It is the most expensive property currently listed in Greater Boston.
The eight-bedroom private estate is five miles from central Boston and is surrounded by Brookline Country Club and Putterham Meadows Golf Course. Other famous residents of Brookline include supermodel Gisele Bündchen and her husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
“This has been our home for the last 16 years and we’ve enjoyed many joyful gatherings with families and friends here,” said the 72-year-old, who has a net worth of $1.03 billion.
“We took a significant amount of time to carefully create and design a home for day-to-day living, as well as casual and formal entertaining. It has truly served as our sanctuary and we will treasure our experiences and memories of this home.”
