Set on two-and-a-half acres, and made from clinker brick—a shiny, dark-colored brick made by exposing wet clay bricks to excessive heat— the main house spans 5,330 square feet and has six bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and walk-in closets. There is also a separate carriage house with a guest loft designed by architect George Suyama, according to the listing with Becky Gray of Realogics Sotheby's International Realty who calls the property timeless and refined.

The property has 150 feet of waterfront on Lake Washington along with a dock and a boathouse. Also on the land are stables, a tennis court and lavish, English-inspired gardens.

"One can’t help but feel one has discovered a long-kept secret amongst the rich plantings and roses," the listing reads.

According to a representative from Sotheby’s, the house is being sold by "prominent philanthropists" from Medina. Mansion Global could not independently identify them.

The home shares the honor of being King County’s most expensive listing with a 525-acre property spread across 44 separate parcels, which is also priced at $28 million, according to Realtor.com.
