Views of the Pacific Ocean can be seen from all angles at this 6,140-square-foot California home listed last week for $23.99 million.

The four-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion in Laguna Beach is part of Three Arch Bay, a gated beachfront community. It’s one of just seven in the development that sits right on the sand, according to Amy Calvert of The Smith Group, a team of affiliate agents with the Newport Beach office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

"You can come off the sand right onto the grass and then into the pool," Ms. Calvert said. And past the pool is the entertainment area, with a pub-style wet bar and wine storage.

The home, built in 2011, last changed hands in 2014 for $9.5 million. The owners did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Guests and visitors are surrounded by views of the ocean at this home, as well as the coastline and Catalina Island, according to the listing. Floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors have been used amply throughout the house to frame the natural beauty just outside them.

And there’s plenty of space for lounging or enjoying the sunset on the private beach or the manicured lawns. There are also several covered terraces which look out onto the beach, plus the pool and oceanfront spa. A waterfall trickles down to the pool below it, and the rocks are covered with lush greenery.

There are two formal greeting rooms, plus a dining room. The great room is reminiscent of a cathedral with its vaulted ceilings and long, narrow windows. Four fireplaces can be found throughout the home, along with custom finishes like wood and stone flooring.

"The bar and wine area are my second favorite part of the house," she said. There's a tasting area in addition to the climate-controlled wine cellar, plus the bar area with two televisions and a lounge.

The chef’s kitchen features imported granite countertops, a walk-in pantry, stainless-steel appliances and a brick-finished barrel ceiling, according to the listing. A breakfast nook offers panoramic views.

The master suite allows privacy and comfort, with a balcony, his-and-her vanities, a soaking tub and steam shower, leaded-glass windows and a walk-in closet, the listing said.

Three Arch Bay offers privacy and security beyond its guarded gates, as well as shared amenities like tennis courts, a children’s playground, basketball sports court and indoor and outdoor common spaces. Dana Point State Marine Conservation Area is close by, as is the live harbor area, which offers nightlife and dining.
